Social determinants that drive disparities

Mattingly lab is a research laboratory based at the University of Kentucky that studies social epidemiology of substance use, addiction, cancer, and related health disparities. We collaborated with Dr. Mattingly to develop a powerful lab website. Our goal was to not only highlight the lab’s unique culture and groundbreaking research but also significantly enhance its online visibility

Mattingly Lab Illustrations

The Mattingly Lab investigates the diverse factors that influence substance use behaviors and contribute to health disparities. We’ve developed original illustrations to visually represent these multifaceted factors and their impact across various populations. To highlight the areas of greatest need, vulnerable populations are clearly marked with a red circle. This visual cue emphasizes the urgency of addressing these disparities and helps to identify the specific factors that heighten vulnerability within these communities.
